Are you a crafter or Indie Designer who makes items for children in Australia that are totally terrific and I really should know about them?

Then let me know.

I can’t promise to review everything suggested to me, but I do always go and have a look and try to include as many as I can.

It is important to note that I am not paid in any way to feature any shops nor products on Handmade Kids. All of the items and features are my own opinions and tastes, there are no influences, I only feature what I wish to show you.

You can leave me a comment and let me know about your store or items, send me an email or send a carrier pigeon, whatever takes your fancy. Actually I would prefer it if you didn’t send by carrier pigeon, my cat might try to eat it and my kids will want to keep it.

Hi,

I have an etsy store selling handmade hair accessories, magnets, and buttons for DIY sewing projects. There are lots of things that are perfect for little children…mostly girls, but some for the boys as well.

Hi there,
I have just discovered ‘handmadekids’ it’s fantastic. Just when you think you read everything you find something new. My brand is dedicated to the 0-6 month bambinos. I sell essential bright, funky, & cheerful gifts packs. What you get from me is a hat, tee, long pant & a bib all packaged in a funky noodle box. To date I have found it very successful for baby showers, newborn presents, & great for the presies from the grandparents. I attend Mathilda’s market in Melbourne, Sisters market in Brunswick, & the monthly craft market at Yarra Glen, as well of course online sales. This is somehow achieved around my 8 month old son, it’s a challenge. I am expanding my line this month so you will have to drop in regularly in January, and lastly I have an etsy & handmade store to. Until Jan 25th my products are on sale, up to 25% off everything. Congratulations on you fab blog, I love it and will be adding it to a favourite of mine.

Hi,

What a lovely blog! Great to find other hand made stuff for kids out there. So many creative people! I make simple pop art type canvases for children’s rooms – all made to order, so motifs, colours etc can be chosen exactly to meet the little rascal’s needs! I have also just discovered Handmade kids, and have enjoyed reading back through.

I make girls clothing and hairclips using a mixture of vintage doilies , hand dyed and new modern fabrics.
I have just opened on etsy and also have a madeit store. Would love for you to take a look.
