For quite some time I have had an avid interest in items that someone has put the time, effort and skill into making. 

Being a mother I love finding items for my children that are different and I believe that handmade offers a wonderful world of undiscovered talent.

Handmade Kids is your place to find beautiful, original items for kids right here in Australia. 

 All items featured on Handmade Kids are created by artists, crafters and independent owned businesses, there is nothing mass produced here.  Let us help you to find those fabulously unique items for your kids.

I only feature high quality unique handmade items and services.  If you see an item we have featured you can be assured it is because I like it.  I have not seen many of the  items featured IRL, but I can assure you I am an avid buyer of handmade and have purchased myself from some of the shops featured (which is likely why they are featured, I loved my item I brought).

It is important to note that I am not paid in any way to feature any shops nor products on Handmade Kids.  All of the items and features are my own opinions and tastes, there are no influences, I only feature what I wish to show you.

If you are a Crafty Person, or know an Indie Designer, and would like to suggest some great Australian items, drop me a line.  I can’t promise to review everything suggested to me, but I do always go and have a look and try to include as many as I can.
